The role of gender, youths and migration in agriculture

Hej,

I’m researcher and docent of Rural Development with a focus on the Global South. I’d be happy to share with you ideas and insights on the role of gender, youths and migration in agriculture – from the household to the regional, national and international level.

I can share encounters of my fieldwork in Nepal, India and Bangladesh in various types of NGO, development and research projects, and we can also discuss my current ideas on the same themes in Sweden, Germany and Europe. I’m particularly interested in collective farming and community-supported agriculture (CSA).

I have written a book on Education for Sustainable Development on water conflicts in Indian geography education and transformative pedagogic practice which I can also talk about (that would be a separate talk topic though).
