My research focuses on finding new antibiotics to help tackle the global problem of antibiotic resistance. I’ll talk to the students about what it’s like to be a researcher and how scientific research benefits society. I’ll speak about good and bad bacteria, and how we’re using the good ones to fight the harmful ones. I’ll also highlight the important role students themselves play in reducing the risks leading to antibiotic resistance.
Praktisk information
I have a PhD in Biotechnology from the Faculty of Engineering (LTH), Lund University, and I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Biology, Faculty of Science, Lund University.
