What just energy transitions are?

I am a social scientist doing research about low-carbon energy transitions. I am generally interested in how transitions are planned and implemented, and more specifically in the questions of democracy, justice, inclusion and marginalization in energy transitions.

I can talk about justice in energy transitions. It is commonly recognized that low-carbon energy transitions should not only be realized but they also need to be just. My presentation will focus on what is meant by justice and how different actors understand justice in energy transitions. I can also talk generally about experiences of being a social science researcher.
