During my physics studies in Germany I focused on courses that combined biology, medicine and physics. During my PhD I changed to pharmacology using biophysical imaging techniques.
Now for my Postdoc in Sweden I am at clinical microbiology in Umea, imaging viral particles with fluorescence microscopy and a single-particle level. More specifically I want to understand, how viruses land and bind to cells and then move towards their entry side.
