I am a statistician with over ten years of experience in the design and analysis of clinical trials.
When I say I’m a statistician people often think I know facts and figures about everything… that’s not true. What I do is work with doctors and other researchers to design ways they can test their ideas to make people healthier. I have worked with many diseases (cancer, HIV, anxiety) and in many countries (UK, Sweden, Uganda, Jordan).
I will talk about how I became a statistician, what an average day looks like, and why I think it’s a great way to work in medicine for people who hate the sight of blood.
