Gold has been used for thousands of years to make jewelry, ornamental objects, or coins. We use super tiny gold particles with the sizes of a virus for making sensing devices to detect protein molecules.

The activity will be carried as a webinar by Thuy Tran, a postdoc at Linköping University. The visitors are going to know how the research group uses gold nanoparticles for making sensing devices used to control the production of medicinal drugs. The researcher will bring the sensor chips to show the visitors
Everyone is welcome to join.
The activity will be performed in English.
