How Social Media and Algorithms Influence Us

I am a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Applied IT, University of Gothenburg. My research interests include social media, empowerment, digital resilience, and digital health. For the purpose of this program, I think some topics about social media is probably interesting to the audience.

I have published in journals such as Information Systems Journal, Information and Management, Information Technology and People, and International Journal of Information Management, and conferences such as ICIS, ECIS, PACIS, AMCIS, and HICSS. I served as a track co-chair for PACIS (2022, 2023), and as an associate editor for ICIS (2015, 2017, 2022), PACIS (2020), and ECIS (2021-2023).
