Nonlinear at all scales

One of the first things children learn in physics is the Ohm’s law. The current through a metal in proportional to the voltage across it. This is example of a linear law. The real world, however is not linear — think about pouring ketchup. The nonlinear behavior appears at all scales, from the largest scales in astrophysical problems down to the small scales in cells. They are particularly important in weather/climate forecast. I will show you quick glimpse to this fascinating world.
